BIG works with mainstream stakeholders in the housing industry to accelerate the adoption of green building practices. This organization offers trusted green building training, tools, technical expertise, and partnership opportunities for key stakeholders including public agencies, builders, developers, architects, contractors, affordable housing advocates, real estate professionals, suppliers, and homeowners. </p> <p>Build It Green's councils and guilds are unique collaborative entities that represent key stakeholders needed to make green building standard practice in California. The councils help individuals and organizations become effective green building practitioners while leveraging their numbers and expertise to have a greater impact on the adoption of green building practices, products and technologies. </p> <p>Build It Green serves as an umbrella for the councils and guilds and actively supports and facilitates each council to help ensure their success. Groups meet monthly or quarterly to share information, support each other's programs and initiatives, and collaborate to accomplish the objectives set out by each council.
